If you’re an experienced Associate Project Manager and ambitious to achieve your career potential, read on.  Join this Prime Residential Developments team as an Associate Project Manager and our client will make sure you get the experience and personalised learning support you need to take your career as far as you want it to go. Our client is seeking to locate a career minded Associate Project Manager to support the team on on-going design & build projects within the Prime Residential Development sector. It is intended that the role will offer the opportunity to progress your career as your experience grows.  This team is involved in some of the UK’s most complex and stimulating projects that are diverse and technically demanding. They have an enviable reputation in the delivery of such schemes and are working closely with our blue-chip clients in the Residential sector delivering their most important projects.

Role accountabilities:

  • Accountable for delivery of a project or projects (Prime Residential Development/Developer led) with reasonable complexity up to £300m + in value – to budget, quality and time metrics
  • Accountable for delivery of timely and accurate  data collection, analysis and reports
  • Responsible for interpreting and communicating project support policies, processes and systems
  • Responsible for communicating and highlighting project process compliance issues to project managers
  • Work within established financial systems and clear project objectives to produce plans, schedules and track budgets, highlighting variances in order to manage and control project delivery targets
  • Deliver/assist to manage small to medium scale projects or programmes of work, ensuring appropriate use of resources to deliver the required scope of work within set deadlines
  • Present any project risks or issues to senior managers to ensure the project is not adversely impacted, and ensure the delivery of projects to compliant standards
  • Analyse and review a range of data to identify key themes and trends and use  the outputs to produce recommendations that support project decision-making
  • Interact effectively across the organisation, completing complex professional level tasks for others in order to ensure projects/programmes can be delivered to meet customer expectations

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Relevant business experience including management of projects ranging from £1m to £300m+
  • Good previous Developer/Prime Real Estate Development/Developer led project experience
  • ‘Practitioner’ level expertise in one or more service lines
  • Good communication skills, including the ability to liaise with peers and senior colleagues and build and maintain relationships
  • Building the ability to negotiate and manage relationships with external stakeholders
  • Commercial acumen and organisational understanding
  • A logical approach and ability to think through complex issues to co-ordinate multi-faceted aspects of projects
  • Knowledge of own area and a general understanding of wider programme and business
