Business Development Manager (Construction)

Fantastic opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join an expanding Construction Consultancy based in Gloucester.

This is a unique opportunity to join a developing business with ambitious growth plans for 2022 and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with the company principals to develop and implement a sales strategy
  • Generate leads and present company credentials to potential clients
  • Create weekly reports of activities using existing CRM system
  • Work with principals to create sales presentations for specific projects
  • Manage and implement a marketing plan with strategic support from external agency
  • Manage day to day relationships with key external sales partners
  • Work on bids so some bid writing experience is preferred

Required Skills:

  • Some experience within a Business Development role
  • Passion for excellence
  • Proactive and able to manage own time
  • Knowledge of sales processes
  • Proven ability to create sales presentations
  • Excellent communication skills and ability
  • Flexible and approachable attitude to work
  • Some experience working in bid writing
  • Fully conversant with MS office, Google
