Our client is a worldwide market leader in access solutions across a wide range of sectors. Within the hospitality sector, they have a requirement for a Field Service Engineer whose patch will be Southern England.

This role is a diverse role that needs not just an electro-mechanical aptitude and experience but also a decent IT aspect with some experience of desktop and networking as modern technology dictates.

This role isn’t just a service and repair role but will, as required, sometimes involve the commissioning of new systems either in new build hotels or on refurbishment projects.

As with any Field Service Engineer role, you will have good customer service skills responding appropriately to their needs.

Experience within areas such as automatic doors, barriers, perimeter access or other systems where a good broad electromechanical and IT experience mix is required would be ideal.

  • Previous field service experience in electro-mechanical field is required.
  • Clean driving licence.
  • Good customer support abilities
  • Good understanding of network solutions.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft operating platforms
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Team player skills and contribute to the future developments to the department.
