Principal Designer / CDM Advisor – Edgbaston

Medium-sized construction consultancy seeking experienced Health and Safety professional to join Edgbaston head office.

The successful candidate must have experience of delivering CDM advice on all phases of a project from engagement to completion, engaging with Developers and Clients, the professional Design Team and Contractors during project delivery. Therefore you must have an in-depth understanding of the CDM process and be competent in advising on all relevant Health & Safety issues across the project.

You will work closely to assist our in-house team of construction and property professionals on a wide range of commercial developments across the UK.

You must have an accredited professional qualification appropriate to this role e.g.:

• Chartered membership of IOSH (CMIOSH) or Fellow of IIRSM;
• Incorporated Member of the Association for Project Safety (IMaPS) working toward Certified Member of the Association for Project Safety (CMaPS);
• NEBOSH Construction Certificate.

Minimum Requirements:

• CDM Management and experience at Client and Designer level;
• Good working knowledge of the latest UK H&S / CDM legislation.
