Working with a market leader in the field of access control, we have an opening for a Project Technical Administrator working within the Projects/Installation management team.

The role will be diverse but interesting combining aspects of client management, administration, technical order processing and management of special metalwork projects with suppliers.

You will support the Project Manager by leading the project management of small orders and project management of metal works.

Duties

  • Review project orders with the team, prior to details being entered on the CRM system & Installation Schedule
  • Provide support and information to Sales Team
  • Review and discuss metal work requirements with sales before drawing and placing into manufacture
  • Provide drawings of and liaise with local supplier, raise POs for metal work and small order parts
  • Quoting for small orders as required, including variations to current projects
  • Provide quotations to existing customers for refurbishments, add-ons or new locks
  • Maintain and update database with all interested companies and contacts for project
  • Ensure that Project File is updated with all information relating to project
  • Risk assessments and Method Statements
  • At times, attend site meetings where necessary for smooth running of project, as directed by line manager
  • Provide Health & Safety, O&M manuals and any other required documentation when requested
  • Maintain & update, completed & live Installation Schedules as directed

 Experience/Skills Required

  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Technical Administration experience
  • Surveying or tech drawing
  • High level of competency in MS Word, Excel & Outlook
