Senior Procurement Manager
Flagship have been working closely within one of the UK’s leading independent consultancy firms on an ongoing procurement framework within the Defence Sector for over five years. During this time, it has gone from strength to strength, and they have now grown to a headcount of fifty. Due to continued success, which has resulted in the addition of new projects on a range of sites across the UK, they are now continuing to grow the team and have ambitious headcount targets for 2023. They have opportunities for Procurement Managers from Assistant to Senior level across locations in Bristol, Corsham, Reading, London, Milton Keynes, and Andover.
The ideal candidate will match the following criteria:
- Degree Qualified.
- 7+ years post-graduation procurement experience.
- Knowledge and experience of the end-to-end procurement process.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- Full SC Clearance (BPSS will be considered for certain roles).
This is a hybrid role split between home and site-based working, with typically two days per week on site, however there are quarterly meetups arranged with the wider team, and the opportunity to work from the firm’s head office in London. The business will also provide further training, for example, support with professional qualifications such as CIPS, and they will create a bespoke career development plan. As this business operates across many different sectors outside of defence, there is also a multitude of opportunities to move into different areas in the future.
